"The police department of the city of Energodar in the Zaporozhye Region received a message that a car exploded on one of the streets. Preliminarily it has been established that as a result of the blast an employee of the territorial body of internal affairs was killed. The blast was very powerful, I can't yet say how much [explosives] there were, but we are talking about several kilograms," Rogov said on the air of the Komsomolskaya Pravda radio station.

There is a hunt for everyone who is trying to restore order and a peaceful life to the liberated territory. <...> One of the objectives is the possibility of paralyzing the activities of law enforcement agencies," he added.
Rogov noted that the deceased police officer had previously worked in the Ukrainian Interior Ministry, after the liberation of Energodar he went on to serve in the People's Militia, and later in the Russian Interior Ministry.
