Donetsk People’s Republic shelled 20 times in past day

According to the report, Kiev troops fired 96 projectiles towards populated areas of the republic in the reported period

DONETSK, February 1. /TASS/. The armed forces of Ukraine shelled populated areas in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) 20 times over the past 24 hours, the DPR mission to the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine’s war crimes said in the early hours of Wednesday.

According to the report, Kiev troops fired 96 projectiles towards populated areas of the republic in the reported period, using 152-mm and NATO-standard 155mm artillery munitions.

Overall, 20 shelling attacks were registered on Tuesday, targeting Gorlovka, Donetsk, Makeyevka, Mineralnoye, Panteleimonovka, Yakovlevka and Yasinovataya.

No civilian casualties were reported. Five houses and one civilian infrastructure facility were damaged.

A total of 29 Ukrainian shelling attacks were registered on the DPR territory on Monday.
