MOSCOW, October 17. /TASS/. A fire has engulfed all nine floors of an apartment building in Yeysk in southern Russia after the crash of an Su-34 aircraft, sources from the public safety answering point have told TASS.
"The first to the ninth floor are on fire, nothing has collapsed for now. About 100 people have been evacuated from this section," they said.
An Su-34 fighter-bomber crashed in Yeysk, Krasnodar Region on Monday evening, after one of its engines burst into flames, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.
The spilled fuel caught fire, which spread to a residential building nearby. The pilots ejected. President Vladimir Putin has issued instructions to provide all necessary assistance to the victims of the emergency.
