MELITOPOL, June 12. /TASS/. A fire at a transformer station in Berdyansk disconnected some residents from power supply, the city administration wrote on its Telegram channel on Sunday.

Earlier, member of the main council of the civil-military administration of the Zaporozhye region Vladimir Rogov said that a terrorist attack was reported in Berdyansk and published a video showing smoke with flashes of fire.

"At around 05:00 am, a short circuit happened at Berdyansk’s transformer substation, as a result one of the transformers caught fire and failed," the statement said.

It was noted that the fire was quickly extinguished. Power supply will be restored soon.
