Village of Solokhi in Belgorod Region comes under fire from Ukraine — governor
According to Vyacheslav Gladkov, one person is known to have been injured
MOSCOW, May 18. /TASS/. The village of Solokhi, in Russia’s Belgorod Region, has come under fire from Ukraine. One person is known to have been injured, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov has said.
"The village of Solokhi, in the Belgorod Region, has come under fire from Ukraine. One person is known to have been injured. Destruction was caused," Gladkov said on his Telegram channel.
The community’s chief executive is on the site of the incident. The head of the district is on the way. Emergency services are at work.
"I will provide details later," Gladkov said.
Earlier, the village of Solokhi was shelled from Ukraine on May 11. Seven residents were injured and an 18-year-old was killed. According to the investigation the Ukrainian army fired several rockets with a multiple rocket launcher BM-21 Grad.
