Belgorod fuel depot fire extinguished — Russian Emergencies Ministry

MOSCOW, April 1. /TASS/. The fire at the fuel depot in Belgorod has been put out, the Russian Emergencies Ministry told TASS on Friday.
"The fire at the fuel depot in Belgorod has been eliminated. The laboratory of Rospotrebnadzor (the Russian consumer rights watchdog - TASS) is monitoring hazardous substances in the air. According to the measurements, the maximum allowable concentration is not exceeded," the ministry said.
On Friday, a fire broke out at a petroleum depot belonging to the Belgorodnefteprodukt company after the Ukrainian Armed Forces had carried out two airstrikes in Belgorod. According to updates, six out of 24 fuel tanks caught fire, whereas firefighters were able to shield the rest from the blaze. No one was killed or injured in the incident. Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that President Vladimir Putin had been informed about the situation in the city. Acting Emergencies Minister Alexander Chupriyan alongside a taskforce headed to the scene. Chairman of the Russian Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin initiated an investigation into the airstrike.
