SIMFEROPOL, March 28. /TASS/. A freighter has sustained a hull breach in the Black Sea near the Russian coast, a rescue operation is underway, a source in the emergency services told TASS on Monday.

"[The freighter] sustained a hull breach, is now being towed to Kerch. It is being tugged by an emergency towing vessel, the water is being pumped out," the source said. The source specified that the rescue operation started in the evening. He added that the breach was in the engine room but it was not caused by military actions.
