KEMEROVO, March 24. /TASS/. Mine workers are being evacuated from the Osinnikovskaya mine (part of Raspadskaya Coal Company) due to a sudden burst of coal and gas, a source in the region’s field services told TASS.

"A sudden coal and gas burst was reported at one of sections of the Osinnikovskaya mine, people are being evacuated. Rescuers have responded to the site," the source said, adding that one person may remain under debris.

A representative of Raspadskaya Coal Company’s press service confirmed to TASS that evacuation was underway at the mine.
