The Armenian capital is experiencing problems with mobile and internet connections
YEREVAN, February 13. /TASS/. A strong earthquake struck Armenia’s capital, Yerevan, a TASS correspondent reported from the site on Saturday.
According to the European Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC), the earthquake measured 4.9 in strength. Its epicenter was located at a distance of eleven kilometers from Yerevan. Its depth has not been specified yet.
Eyewitnesses say that the earthquake was so strong in the city that goods were falling from the shelves at stores as well as furniture at homes.
