VIENNA, November 2. /TASS/. A shooting incident has taken place near a synagogue in downtown Vienna, Austria’s Kronen Zeitung newspaper reported on Monday, adding that a police officer had suffered injuries.

According to preliminary reports, a suspected shooter has been detained, police are working to establish the cause of the incident, law enforcement sources said.
