Distribution center in Voronezh Region is on fire, with 20,000 square meters ablaze

MOSCOW, April 28. /TASS/. A fire sparked in a distribution center in the Voronezh Region, with 20,000 square meters ablaze, the press service of the Russian Emergencies Ministry told TASS.

"At 0:08 Moscow time fire in the building of the distribution center in the village of Nechayevka, Novousmansky district was reported. The area covered by fire is 20,000 square meters," an Emergencies Ministry employee said.

The total are of the facility is 42,000 square meters. According to preliminary data, the fire sparked on the roof.

There were no people in the building and no one was injured, according to preliminary information. Ninety-five people and almost 40 vehicles are involved in the fire-fighting efforts.

An emergency source specified that a Magnit distribution center is on fire.

A laboratory crew was deployed to the site to assess the maximum permissible concentration of hazardous substances.
