MOSCOW, March 27. /TASS/. A suspected accessory to an outlawed armed gang member has been extradited from Bosnia and Herzegovina to Russia, the Russian Prosecutor General press service told TASS on Wednesday.
"At the request of the Prosecutor General of Russia, the relevant authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina have extradited Russian citizen Magomed Isakov to Russia. He is accused of abetting a member of an illegal armed group," the press service reported.
According to the investigation, from December 2013 to June 2014 Isakov was willingly assisting a member of an outlawed armed gang in the Dagestan region.
"He supplied the militant with food, clothes, medicine and other goods," the General Prosecutor’s office specified. Since Isakov hid from law enforcement agencies, the court ruled to incarcerate him. The court issued an international wanted notice and in May 2017, he was detained in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Magomed Isakov arrived in Moscow under the supervision of the Russian Federal Penitentiary Service and the Russian Interpol bureau officers.
