MAGNITOGORSK, January 1. /TASS/. Rescue workers have found the eighth body at the site of a collapsed apartment block in the Urals city of Magnitogorsk, a source in the emergency headquarters told TASS.
"We have found the eighth body, but it has not been pulled out of the rubble yet. We don’t know who it is but it is an adult, not a child," the source said.
A section of a ten-storey apartment block collapsed in Magnitogorsk on Monday. The Russian Investigative Committee views a household gas explosion as the main cause of the accident. A total of 37 people are still unaccounted for. Dozens of people have been evacuated from the building.
