HELSINKI, December 30. /TASS/. A Russian family of three has been killed in a traffic accident in the Finnish city of Oulu on Saturday, December 29, sources in Finland’s police informed.

"Three people have been killed," a message published on the police website informs. A passenger car swerved into the oncoming traffic and collided with a truck. A man and a woman born in the 1980s and a school-age child were killed instantly.

"The people killed are Russian citizens. The bodies have been identified. Russian officials have been notified of the accident," the Finnish police stated.

The truck driver received no serious injuries in the accident.

"The road surface was slippery on the site of the accident. The snow tires of the passenger car were in a good condition. The police continues to investigate this incident," the police informed.
