ST. PETERSBURG, November 10. /TASS/. Fire in Lenta hypermarket in St. Petersburg was localized, its difficulty rank was lowered from third to second, press service of the Emergencies Ministry in the city reported on Saturday.

One person was injured in the fire, the ambulance service told TASS. "One person was injured, he was taken to the hospital," a source said.

The roof of the burning Lenta hypermarket building in St. Petersburg collapsed, the fire fighting headquarters told TASS. "The area of collapse amounted to 3,200 square meters," a spokesman said.

Lenta is a large hypermarket chain, founded in 1993 in St. Petersburg. The total number of its stores on March 31, 2018, reached 338 - 232 hypermarkets and 106 supermarkets.
