Investigators established that Vladislav Roslyakov was solely responsible for the shooting and blast at the Kerch college after questioning 650 people in connection with the case

MOSCOW, November 9. /TASS/. Investigators have found that student Roslyakov acted alone in a mass shooting at a polytechnic college in Crimea's Kerch on October 17, official spokeswoman for the Russian Investigative Committee (IC) Svetlana Petrenko said on Friday.

On Friday evening, IC head Alexander Bastrykin took part in the meeting on the progress of investigation into the mass shooting at the Kerch college. "Investigators have established the details of Roslyakov's route on the adjacent territory and in the college building on the day of the incident. Evidence and witness accounts were collected to confirm the sequence of his actions. In accordance with the available information, the investigation came to a conclusion that Roslyakov acted alone," Petrenko said.

Bastrykin was informed that 650 people have already been questioned in connection with the case.

"Roslyakov's personality is being explored in details now - his views, mental condition before and during the act of committing this crime. A detailed psychological portrait was compiled. A postmortem psychological and psychiatric forensic examination was assigned," Petrenko said adding that the investigation continues.

On October 17, student Vladislav Roslaykov set off a bomb and opened fire at the Kerch Polytechnic College in Crimea. Twenty people were killed and 50 more injured. Roslyakov committed suicide.
