MOSCOW, April 7. /TASS/. Businessman Oleg Deripaska, who was put on the US sanctions list on Friday, considers it ungrounded and ridiculous, but will discuss this issue with lawyers after the Orthodox Easter, the businessman’s official representative told TASS.
"The events of this morning are very sad, but not unexpected. Of course, my inclusion in the US sanctions list is unreasonable, ridiculous and absurd. I am going to celebrate the Orthodox Easter on Sunday and then to analyze the situation with our lawyers early next week and give some comments," the businessman said as quoted by his representative.

The US Treasury Department blacklisted Oleg Deripaska, Vladimir Bogdanov, Suleiman Kerimov, Igor Rotenberg, Kirill Shamalov, Andrei Skoch and Viktor Vekselberg. Restrictions were imposed on Agroholding Kuban, Basic Element Limited, B-Finance, En+ Group, GAZ Group, Gazprom Burenie, Eurosibenergo, Ladoga Management, NPV Engineering, Renova Group, Rosoboronexport, Russian Financial Corporation, Russian Machines, and Rusal.
