Russia's GDP in January-November rose by 1.4%, the president said
MOSCOW, December 21. /TASS/. The Russian economy has overcome the recession, GDP in January-November rose by 1.4%, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting with representatives of Russian business and associations on Thursday.
"The period of recession in the economy has come to an end, this is obvious, we can see it. In January-November of this year GDP grew by 1.4%, according to the Ministry of Economic Development. Although there was some slowdown in the fourth quarter, but the trend is obvious - forward," Putin said.
