MOSCOW, November 24. /TASS/. The Russia-Japan Investment Fund plans to shortly close the deal on $150 mln investments into Russian oil pipeline operator Transneft, Russian Energy Ministry said on Friday.
"The Fund in cooperation with Japan’s majors already initiated analysis of priority projects in the territory of Russia. The investment of $150 mln into Transneft is one of key strategic deals planned to be closed in near future," the ministry said.
Companies from Russia and Japan are cooperating in wind farm construction in Yakutia, localization of wind turbines in the Far East and construction of combined heat and power generation plants in Primorsky Region in the field of renewables use and energy efficiency, the ministry reported.
