OPEC member countries will hold talks with Russia and other non-OPEC states in Vienna on joining the agreement on cutting oil output

VIENNA, December 10. /TASS/. Saudi Arabia hopes to reach an agreement with non-OPEC countries on cutting oil output at the meeting on December 10, Saudi Arabia's Minister of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources Khalid al-Falih said.

"We are very optimistic," al-Falih told reporters answering a question on whether Saudi Arabia hopes to reach an agreement with non-OPEC countries at the meeting on December 10.

The minister said he expects 10-11 countries to agree to sign the agreement.

OPEC member countries will hold talks with Russia and other non-OPEC states in Vienna on joining the agreement on cutting oil output. Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak told journalists on Friday that he expects an agreement to be signed after the meeting.
