MOSCOW, November 3. /TASS/. Japan and Russia selected 30 priority cooperation projects, Japan’s Minister of Trade, Economy and Industry Hiroshige Seko said on Thursday after the meeting with Russia’s Economy Minister Alexei Ulyukayev.
"Japanese and Russian parties suggested priority cooperation projects; we selected about 30 projects from them, whereupon we will accelerate review and workout to finalize them by mid-December," Seko said.
Arrangements were reached that several Russian plants in various regions will receive proposals on labor productivity improvement from Japanese experts, he added.
"Japanese and Russian governments will jointly select about 10 or 12 model Russian plants in several Russian regions and these model plants will be the target for labor productivity diagnostics. Japanese experts will develop proposals for performance improvement," Seko said.
