Gazprom gas supplies to non-CIS countries up 10% in 2016
Deliveries to Germany went up by 7.5%, to Britain - by 54.6%, to France - by 20.4%, to Austria - by 27.5%, to Greece - by 47.3%, to Holland - by 91.8%, to Denmark - by 149.4%, to Poland - by 16.7%
MOSCOW, November 1. /TASS/. Russia’s top gas producer Gazprom reported a 10% increase in its supplies to non-CIS countries in January-October period of 2016 year-on-year. In absolute terms, the increase amounted to 13.05 bln cubic meters of gas, the report said.
Gazprom’s deliveries to Germany went up by 7.5% (a 2.75 bln cubic meters increase), to Britain - by 54.6%, to France - by 20.4%, to Austria - by 27.5%, to Greece - by 47.3%, to Holland - by 91.8%, to Denmark - by 149.4%, to Poland - by 16.7%.
According to Gazprom’s Chairman of management committee Alexei Miller, the company has been "fully accomplishing the increased requests from Turkey as in the last four days of October Russia’s gas supplies to the country exceeded the average daily figures of the month by 14%."
In 2015, Gazprom gas exports to non-CIS countries increased 8% compared with 2014 to 159.4 bln cubic meters.
Earlier Miller said that the company’s exports to Europe might exceed 170 bln cubic meters in 2016, and did not rule out high gas exports volume in 2017.
