Revenues from Russian oil export down in January-August 2016 — Federal Customs Service
The physical volume of oil export grew at the same time by 6.3% year-on-year to 170.2 mln tonnes
MOSCOW, October 11. /TASS/. Export of Russian oil dropped in value terms by 27% year-on-year in January - August 2016 to $46 bln, the Federal Customs Service reported on Tuesday.
The physical volume of oil export grew at the same time by 6.3% year-on-year in the reporting period to 170.2 mln tonnes.
The bulk of oil was exported to non-CIS countries, with the price of supplies amounting to $43 bln versus $59 bln in January-August 2015.
Revenues from oil supplies to CIS countries dropped 25% year-on-year to $3 bln.
The physical volume of oil exports to non-CIS countries was 155.8 mln tonnes, to CIS - 14.3 mln tonnes.
Gazprom's revenues
The report also said Gazprom’s revenues from natural gas export in January - August 2016 decreased by 31.5% year-on-year to $19.3 bln.
In the reporting period, Gazprom increased gas exports by 5.2% year-on-year to 123.6 bln cubic meters against 117.5 bln cubic meters last year.
Export of natural gas to the non-CIS countries rose 11.2% year-on-year to 102.5 bln cubic meters in the reporting period, to the CIS countries - declined by 16.6% to 21.1 bln cubic meters.
