MOSCOW, October 4. /TASS/. Russia needs to settle political disagreements with other countries in order to reach desired economic growth rates, head of the Center of Strategic Research and ex-Finance Minister Alexei Kudrin said on Tuesday.
"I am confident we will settle political discord with other countries over time and will openly trade and develop relations, including mutual investments with the East and the West. This is inevitable, considering high growth rates we want to achieve," Kudrin said.
Russia is receiving many technologies from abroad and depends on them similarly to other economies, he added.
Geopolitical relations with the West at present exert a downside effect on the Russian economy, the expert said.
