Russian economy minister submits proposal for Rosneft privatization to government
The minister said the Russian government will try to carry out privatization of a 19.5% stake in Rosneft before the end of the year
MOSCOW, September 13. /TASS/. The Russian Ministry of Economic Development has submitted its proposals for privatization of state stake in Rosneft to the government, the ministry does not disclose the content of the proposals, the Ministry representative told TASS on Tuesday.
"The Ministry of Economic Development sent proposals to the government," the source said.
First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov said in an interview with Rossiya 24 TV channel in the framework of the Eastern Economic Forum 2016 that consultants proposed the Russian government an option of privatization of Rosneft and Bashneft as a single project.
Economic Development Minister Alexey Ulyukayev told journalists in early September that the Russian government will try to carry out privatization of a 19.5% stake in Rosneft before the end of the year, the probability of this is over 50%.
