Russian Deputy PM: Eastern Economic Forum has proved its relevance

VLADIVOSTOK, September 4. /TASS/. Deputy Prime Minister and Presidential Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev said that the second Eastern Economic Forum had proved its relevance. That is according to a statement by the Department of Media of Eastern Economic Forum obtained by TASS
"The Second Eastern Economic Forum has proved that it is in demand. We see that the business is willing to come here, and this leads to a revival of the business environment. That means that the forum is held in the right place at the right time. As a result, new projects and enterprises emerge in the Far East," Trutnev said as quoted by the statement.
"We will definitely go further than the package of proposals and laws for the Far East, which were presented at the forum. It is understood that the Third East Economic Forum should be different and new mechanisms of development will certainly emerge next year," the Deputy Prime Minister said.
The 2nd Eastern Economic Forum was held in Vladivostok on September 2-3.
According to the forum’s media department, 3,500 people from 56 countries attended the forum and 201 agreements worth more than 1.63 trillion rubles ($25 bln) were signed.
