Kalashnikov’s export orders portfolio is $230 mln — CEO
The concern is cooperating with African, Middle Eastern, Southeast Asian and Latin American nations
MOSCOW, September 1. /TASS/. The export orders portfolio of Kalashnikov Concern is $230 mln, Chief Executive Officer of the Russia’s largest small arms maker Alexei Krivoruchko told TASS in an interview on Thursday.
"Our export orders portfolio has grown significantly in the last two years, by more than four times, and is about $230 mln for the time being," Krivoruchko said.
Export commodities largely comprise guided munitions and small arms," the Chief Executive said.
"We are traditionally cooperating with African, Middle Eastern, Southeast Asian and Latin American nations. Despite sanctions, we signed contracts for supply of our sports and hunting weapons with 15 countries, with whom we had not worked earlier," Krivoruchko said.
Kalasnikov Concern is among Russian companies hit by sanctions imposed against Russia. The company managed to replenish loss of the US market by promoting its products in Africa, Asia, and Latin America, Krivoruchko said earlier.
