MOSCOW, July 18. /TASS/. Alfa-Bank is not considering entry on the Iran’s market or joint projects with Iranian companies, Chief Executive Officer of the Russian private bank Andrei Sokolov said on Monday.
"The Iranian market is not of interest for us," Sokolov said.
The bank is not viewing mutual settlements with Iranian credit institutions, he said.
"We cooperated with Iran in one project in due time but it was long ago. We closed all cooperation after imposition of sanctions on Iran and do not have the need to resume it for the being," the banker said.
Alfa-Bank is not also considering expansion into other countries, Sokolov said. "Regions where we are operating now are quite enough for us," he added.
