WARSAW, June 8. /TASS/. Poland should look for opportunities to cooperate with Russia because it remains an attractive destination for Polish business and investments, Poland’s Deputy Development Minister Radoslaw Domagalski said on Wednesday. Domagalski will attend the forthcoming St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).

"Considering the political context that is certainly present and impacts our economic ties, we should look for opportunities to cooperate with Russians. Many Polish investments were made in Russia. I believe despite various economic shocks and demand drop in Russia, it may continue to be an interesting area for Polish investors," Domagalski said.

"We would like also to give a signal to Poland’s firms investing in Russia that we are ready to support them on this market also, without losing an opportunity to talk about improvement of economic relations with Russia," the official added.

The twentieth St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) will be held on June 16-18 on a new site near St. Petersburg. The new economic reality and the search for new growth drivers will be key topics for discussions at the Forum.
