Brent crude price exceeds $52 per barrel, first time since October 12, 2015

MOSCOW, June 8. /TASS/. The price of futures contract for Brent crude oil with delivery in August rose by 1.1% to $52.01 per barrel 2016 on the ICE Exchange in London for the first time since October 12, 2015.

The Russian currency slightly strengthened amid the growth of rising oil prices. The dollar against the ruble fell by 0.3% to 64.4 rubles, the euro fell by 0.2% to 73.2 rubles.
