St. Petersburg governor says Gazprom may set up LNG hub in Bahrain

The potential gas hub may be supplied from Russia
MANAMA/ST. PETERSBURG, April 26. /TASS/. The Russian gas holding Gazprom is examining establishment of a liquefied natural gas distribution hub in Bahrain, Governor of St. Petersburg Georgy Poltavchenko said on Tuesday.
"Gazprom is considering the issue of creating a liquefied gas distribution hub there, which will be supplied from Russia in particular," the governor said commenting on results of St. Petersburg delegation’s business trip to Bahrain.
TASS reported earlier St. Petersburg instrument-making companies may take part in implementation of the LNG terminal project in Bahrain.
