Aeroflot resumes flights to Kazakhstan

Aeroflot received permission from the Kazakhstani authorities

MOSCOW, March 27 /TASS/. Aeroflot will resume flights to Kazakhstan on Sunday after receiving permission from the Kazakhstani authorities. All the flights will be made on schedule, the Russian air carrier said in its report.

"In view of the fact that the Civil Aviation Committee of Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Investments and Development has issued permission to Aeroflot, the air carrier is resuming flights to Kazakhstan. All the flights scheduled for March 27, 2016 will be made according to the previously published schedule," the report said.

On March 26, Aeroflot announced it would stop all regular flight to Kazakhstan because the Kazakhstani side had not provided permission documentation for flights according to the summer schedule, which came into force on March 27.

Aeroflot is planning to make its own regular flights from Moscow to seven destinations in Kazakhstan: Aktau, Aktobe, Almaty, Astana, Karaganda and Shymkentmaklmhow in the 2016 summer season, which lasts from March 27, 2016 to October 29, 2016.

According to Aeroflot, the air carrier will make 5 return flights to Kazakhstan on March 27.
