German company may develop communication equipment for Russian-Indian transport aircraft

Russia’s United Instrument-Making Company has discussed opportunities for cooperation in the field of aviation, radar equipment, communications and control means with other countries as well

MOSCOW, August 31. /TASS/. Russia’s United Instrument-Making Company (UIMC) affiliated with the state-owned corporation Rostec discussed the opportunities for a joint development of a communication package for the Russian-Indian transport aircraft with Germany’s Rohde & Schwarz, UIMC press service told TASS on Monday.

"We confirmed intentions for joint work and prepared our proposal for the Indian side for the next round of negotiations," UIMC said.

Furthermore, UIMC held a series of successful negotiations with representatives of Australia, France, Czech Republic, India, Republic of Korea and Belarus. "Opportunities for cooperation in the field of aviation, radar equipment, communications and control means were discussed at the meetings," UIMC said.
