Ukraine’s gas transit to Europe is up 32% YOY in July — Ukrtransgaz

Gas transportation for the European needs is expected with the volume of 242.9 mln cubic meters in accordance with the preliminary request of Russia’s Gazprom

KIEV, August 3. /TASS/. The natural gas transit to Europe through Ukraine rose 32% year-on-year in July 2015 to 6.9 bln cubic meters, the press service of Ukraine’s gas pipeline system operator Ukrtransgaz said on Monday.

35.6 bln cubic meters of natural gas were transported through the Ukrainian gas system for European consumers in January-July 2015, down 17% on an annualized basis, Ukrtransgaz reported.

According to the Monday’s flash report of Ukrtransgaz, the natural gas for European consumers is transported according to presented requests with the volume of 239.3 mln cubic meters, up 67% year-on-year.
