Much-anticipated Apple Watch hit sales in Russia, Turkey and New Zealand

Product, officially released on April 24, is available for the purchase in Russia not only on the Apple Online Store, but in Russia’s managed iPort, Re:Store, and C-store Internet stores

MOSCOW, July 31. /TASS/. The Apple Watches retail sales kicked off in Russia on early Friday with first wearables going on for purchase at 7:01 a.m. Moscow time (4:00 GMT) via the online Apple Store.

The launch of Apple Watches sales in Russia was timed with the start of the distribution in Turkey and New Zealand.

The much-anticipated product, officially released on April 24, is available for the purchase in Russia not only on the Apple Online Store, but in Russia’s managed iPort, Re:Store, and C-store Internet stores.

According to last week’s price estimations provided by MacRumors.com website, the pricing policy for Russia should stand at:

- Apple Watch Sport: 23,990 rubles ($402) to 27,990 rubles ($469)

- Apple Watch: 37,990 rubles ($637) to 78,990 rubles ($1,324)

- Apple Watch Edition: 660,000 rubles ($11.059) to 1,120,000 rubles ($18,767).

The prices for Apple Watch series production in Turkey were announced last week at the level of:

Turkey - Apple Watch Sport: 1,249 TRY to 1,399 TRY - Apple Watch: 1,999 TRY to 3,899 TRY - Apple Watch Edition: 34,000 TRY to 56,000 TRY.
