MOSCOW, May 29. /TASS/. The Energy Ministry considers necessary to cut Russia’s crude oil supplies to Belarus due to non-performance of oil products supplies to Russia by the country, Energy Minister Alexander Novak said Friday.

"The Government will make decision. We assume supplies should be adjusted with account of what is not fulfilled [by Belarus - TASS], it is spelt out in our agreement," he said.

As TASS reported earlier Belarus is not fully meeting its commitments on oil products supplies to the Russian market due to unfavorable pricing environment. According to the Energy Ministry, "the Russian side has the right to cut volumes of oil stock supplied to the Republic of Belarus via pipelines in the planned quarter in case of a shortfall in delivery of motor gasoline in the volume exceeding 10% from the agreed delivery schedule" pursuant to the agreements. Russia’s enforcement of the law will be considered in June 2015 when setting the schedule of oil delivery via cross-country pipelines outside Russia for the third quarter of 2015, the Ministry said.
