MOSCOW, December 11. /TASS/. The board of directors of Mexican airline Interjet has approved a deal to purchase 10 more Sukhoi Superjet 100 (SSJ-100) airlines in Russia, a source with knowledge of the matter told PRIME on Thursday.
“Negotiations on signing of an additional firm contract for 10 more planes for Interjet are at a final stage, and we are quite sure that we will soon announce a positive result. As you understand, we are not ready to disclose the details of the deal yet,” the source said.
Interjet already uses 11 SSJ-100 aircraft, and it has a firm deal for the supply of 9 more planes.
Sukhoi Civil Aircraft declined to comment.
