The aircraft manufacturing center is to work both in the military and the civilian segment
MOSCOW, November 19. /TASS/. Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev set a task to establish an aircraft-making center equal to world companies by 2025, head of the government wrote on his social netork account.
“Our goal in aircraft-making is to set up an aircraft-manufacturing center comparable to companies like Boeing and Airbus by 2025, but both in military and civilian segments,” the prime minister said.
Medvedev also said productivity in ship-building should be doubled by 2030.
Russia has major potential in aircraft-and ship-building, the United Aircraft-Building Corporation and the United Ship-Building Corporation operate to manage the infrastructure of these industries, Medvedev said.
