COPENHAGEN, November 19. /TASS/. Denmark has proposed to Ukraine to replace the natural gas purchases from Russia with purchasing Danish windmills. Danish Foreign Minister Martin Lidegor said on Wednesday this would solve Ukrainian energy problems.
He does not hide that the plan offers good opportunities for the promotion of Danish solutions in the sphere of wind-power engineering development.
“Undoubtedly, raising energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy sources is better for Ukraine and climate, and also beneficial for Denmark’s long-term trade interests,” the minister said in an interview to the Ritzaus Bureau news agency.
