Russian, Japanese leaders hold "good meeting"

TOKYO, November 10. /TASS/. The Russian and Japanese leaders had a good meeting on Sunday in Beijing, where they openly exchanged views, the Japanese cabinet's chief secretary Yoshihide Suga told a press conference on Monday.

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe had talks in the Chinese capital on the sidelines of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit.

It was a good meeting to have an open exchange of views based on personal relations of trust, the Japanese official said.

Russia and Japan continue discussing resumption of consultations between deputy foreign ministers and a visit by Japanese Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida to Moscow.
