Russia, China sign technical agreement for Rosneft to supply 5 mln tons oil additionally

MOSCOW, November 10. /TASS/. Russia and China have signed in Beijing a technical agreement on a temporary change of the point of oil delivery to China for 2015-2017, in line with which Russian state-owned oil company Rosneft will be able to additionally supply 5 million metric tons of oil annually to the country, the Rosneft CEO said.
“We have agreed an additional oil supply point and now, besides Skovorodino, where there is a branch to Mohe and Daqing, we will be able to supply additional volumes along another route. This is 5 million tons for the period while pipelines are being widened on the Chinese side,” Igor Sechin told the Rossiya 24 TV channel.
In June 2013, Rosneft and China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) signed, during the St. Petersburg Economic Forum, a long-term contract for Russian oil supplies to China.
“The volume is 365 million tons over 25 years, the deal is assessed at $270 billion,” Sechin said then.
