BRUSSELS, November 8. /TASS/. Greece has requested additional financial assistance for agricultural producers from the European Union in connection with Russia’s food embargo against the EU, the press service of the EU Council told TASS on Friday evening.
At the request of the Greek delegation the Council of EU ministers of agriculture at a meeting in Brussels on November 10 will consider additional spot support measures for peach and mandarin producers, affected by the Russian embargo on agricultural products, says the press release.
