MOSCOW, October 1. /TASS/. A delegation of Russian investors will visit North Korea in late October, Minister for the Far East Development Alexander Galushka said on Wednesday.

“We’re preparing a business mission of Russian investors from October 20 to October 24. Many companies showed interest,” he said at talks with North Korean Foreign Minister Lee Su-yong.

“The delegation that I’ll lead will include Russian businessmen,” Galushka said.

He also noted the positive dynamical development of trade and economic cooperation with North Korea.

Lee Su-yong confirmed that North Korea seeks to successfully develop relations with Russia.

Progress is being achieved in many problems of trade and economic cooperation. “Particularly, the debt problem has been solved. Let me take this opportunity to thank you,” he said.

At the same time, Lee said certain aspects should be solved. “Of course, the ministry for foreign economic relations deals with this issue. But the Foreign Ministry will facilitate the soonest implementation of the earlier reached agreements,” he said.
