US soft maker Adobe Systems to liquidate office in Russia

Adobe failed to strike several deals because of the Western sanctions and because it is not ready for the law amendments, which will restrict processing data of the Russians outside the country

MOSCOW, September 26. /ITAR-TASS/. US computer software producer Adobe Systems has started liquidating its representative office in Russia and was delisted from the tax register on Wednesday, business daily Vedomosti reported Friday, referring to Adobe’s spokesman Matvey Kireyev.

Despite the disappearance of the local office, Russian users will be able to buy products and services from the company via its website Adobe.com and re-sellers, Kireyev said.

Adobe has been actively developing services Creative Cloud and Marketing Cloud in the recent years, thus moving from the model of an unlimited license to cloud subscription.

The company is revising its activities in Russia and is focusing on sales of its products via local partners.
