Russia’s Lukoil asks for access to non-licensed hydrocarbon fields

MOSCOW, September 25. /ITAR-TASS/. Russian oil company Lukoil has asked the government to grant it access to a fund of non-licensed hydrocarbon fields to support the company during the Western sanctions regime, Deputy Energy Minister Kirill Molodtsov told reporters Thursday.

“Lukoil has asked us for support by granting access to the fund of non-licensed hydrocarbon fields,” Molodtsov said.

He also added that the Energy, Natural Resources, Economic Development and Finance ministries are working on a set of instruments for supporting oil companies amid Western sanctions.
