BRATISLAVA, September 16. /ITAR-TASS/. Slovak gas company SPP has registered a 25% decline in Russian gas supplies on Tuesday, a representative for the company told PRIME.
“SPP has registered an almost 25% decrease in gas supplies today. But despite the fact, we want to assure our buyers that the situation will not affect supplies to our consumers,” the representative said.
Since September 8, gas pipeline operators in Poland, Slovakia, Germany, Austria, Romania, and Italy have separately reported on declines in Russian gas supplies varying from 5% in Romania to 45% in Poland.
Russian gas giant Gazprom said on Monday that cuts in Russian gas deliveries to Europe are caused by gas pumping into domestic underground storage facilities.
