China issues $5 billion loan to SCO countries for joint projects
DUSHANBE, September 12. /ITAR-TASS/. China will issue to the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) a loan of five billion dollars for financing of joint projects, Chairman Xi Jinping told a meeting of the SCO Heads of State Council on Friday.
“The Chinese side has decided to issue for the SCO countries a loan of five billion dollars to finance joint projects,” he said.
At the previous meeting, SCO announced organization of the China-Eurasia Economic Cooperation Fund.
“Its initial capital is one billion dollars, but in future it will grow to five billion dollars,” Xi Jinping said. “Thus, we are ready to offer support to the economic development of the member-countries and to the observing countries.”
Besides, in order to promote actively the Organization in the international arena, China is ready to train in 2015-2017 about 2,000 specialists for SCO, including “official technical specialists, managers.” Xi Jinping invited to China specialists from SCO to receive further professional training, including in judicial jobs.
