Kazakh, Iranian leaders vow to boost bilateral ties

ASTANA, September 09. /ITAR-TASS/. In their joint statement on Tuesday, the presidents of Kazakhstan and Iran stated their bid to boost bilateral cooperation in all spheres.

“A visit by our delegation to Kazakhstan and (its capital) Astana, as well as the presence of Iran’s private sector at these talks testify a strong will of the Islamic Republic of Iran to develop ties with Kazakhstan in all spheres,” Iranian President Hasan Ruhani said at talks in an extended format.

Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev said he believed the visit and a business-forum timed to it would raise ties to a new level.

The president also offered to open a Kazakh-Iranian trading house.
