BEIJING, September 05. /ITAR-TASS/. Ruselectronics, a unit of Russia’s state-owned industrial corporation Rostec, is holding talks with Chinese corporation CETC to set up a joint venture to produce light emitting diodes, Rostec CEO Sergei Chemezov told reporters Friday.

The companies may sign an agreement on the joint venture’s establishment by the end of 2014, Chemezov said.

The venture may be created in the Tomsk special economic zone.
