Energy talks of Russia, EU, Ukraine may take place on September 6 — Poroshenko
According to EU Energy Commissioner, the resumption of these consultations will be discussed in Moscow on August 29 where he will hold a meeting with Russian Energy Minister Aleksandr Novak
KIEV, August 27./ITAR-TASS/. Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said after a working visit to the Belarusian capital Minsk that energy talks between the fuel and energy ministers of Ukraine, Russia and EU will take place on September 6, the Ukrainian leader’s press service said on Wednesday.
EU Energy Commissioner Gunther Oettinger said earlier on the results of the EU delegation’s talks with Poroshenko that the sides reached an agreement on holding natural gas consultations in a trilateral format: between the European Commission, Russia and its Gazprom natural gas giant on the one side, and Ukraine and its oil and gas company Naftogaz - on the other.
